Royal Mail Group is a key component of the UK’s economic and social infrastructure, providing services to private individuals, companies and communities. In 2011-12, we employed nearly 159,000 people in the UK, contributing £5.3 billion to the economy in wages and other related people costs, and a further £2.4 billion buying goods and services.
