In 2012, Royal Mail was rated one of the UK’s most responsible organisations in Business in the Community’s Corporate Responsibility Index. For the first time, we achieved a ‘Platinum’ ranking.

We have been awarded a Guinness World Record for Royal Mail’s payroll giving scheme. Our employees have donated over £45 million through payroll giving since 1989.

Royal Mail is one of very few organisations in the UK to have achieved a Platinum Payroll Giving Quality Mark award.

Royal Mail Group won a Gold Managing Occupational Road Risk medal in the 2011 RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards.

Royal Mail was recently awarded a certificate of excellence for purchasing policies and procedures by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS). This recognises our sound management of CR issues in our supply chain.
