Our education resources for secondary schools
An example of the resources we develop for secondary schools is Domestic Blitz. Working with Warwick Arts Centre we created a DVD and book covering wartime experiences during the blitz. The material outlines avenues of research for students to pursue. A lot of the classic film used in the DVD was taken by our own GPO Film Unit pioneers.
Our Enterprise Skills Pack works alongside the new Enterprise Education Initiative recently introduced into secondary education. The pack shows teachers how to set up and run a Main Enterprise Day and gives advice on team working and problem solving. There are also a series of Lead Lessons that teachers can use to develop students' skills before the Main Enterprise Day. After the event the pack includes a series of activities to give more help to pupils.
