We strive to make it easy for our customers to get in touch – and to be as helpful as possible with our reply.
Whether it’s a comment or question from a personal customer or an enquiry from a business about our mail services, all our customers should find contacting us a hassle-free experience.

To help our customers, all relevant contact numbers and email addresses are listed on our Royal Mail, Parcelforce Worldwide and Post Office websites. All three sites also have a Frequently Asked Questions section to help customers find the answers to their questions without having to phone or email us. Royal Mail’s website goes even further, with a friendly ‘virtual’ online assistant, Sarah, who answers questions typed in by customers.
With more and more people using social media, it makes sense for Royal Mail Group to communicate with our customers through social networking sites. Customers can follow Royal Mail and Parcelforce Worldwide on Twitter and can tweet us their questions and feedback. We respond to customer tweets throughout the week. Both Twitter pages are proving popular – together attracting more than 19,000 followers at the last count.
Teams working at Royal Mail Group’s contact centres provide telephone assistance to our customers. The centres field more than 550,000 calls and 28,000 emails each month, and our customer service staff and call centre procedures are focused on resolving all enquiries swiftly and to the customer’s satisfaction.
