Our approach to reducing our impacts on the environment is to avoid and reduce, replace then offset.

Avoid and reduce fuel, energy and water consumption and waste creation wherever possible through increasing efficiency behaviourally and operationally.

Replace existing technology and fuel with low or zero emission alternatives to further reduce our impacts.

Offset all of our remaining emissions once avoidance, reduction and replacement options have been exhausted.

We are also working with our customers and suppliers to reduce their environmental impacts using similar principles.
