Dow Jones Sustainability Indices
For two years in a row, we were ranked first in the Transportation and Transportation Infrastructure sector in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. As the top-scoring company in our industry globally, Royal Mail has been listed in both the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index and the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index.
In 2015, we gained inclusion in the prestigious FTSE4Good Index for the first time. We scored 4.1 out of 5, ranking us in the 96th percentile.
BITC CR Index
The Business in the Community CR Index measures companies on their overall corporate responsibility policies, practices, and performance. In the 2016 Index, we scored 96 per cent and were awarded four stars, out of a possible five.
Carbon Trust Standard
In 2014-15, Royal Mail became the first delivery business to be awarded the triple certification to the Carbon Trust Standard for carbon, water, and waste, which we retained for 2015-16.
