Responsible for determining the framework for the remuneration of senior executives across the Group (including individual remuneration arrangements for the Chairman, the Executive Directors and the Company Secretary) and agreeing targets for any performance-related incentive schemes.

Responsible for reviewing and approving objectives and monitoring performance of the Royal Mail pension schemes, alongside policy and strategy considerations concerning pensions and investment matters that are significant to the Group.


Responsible for all the key areas of commercial activity within the Group, including management of the key strategies of the Group with an overall framework of financial risk and business controls and assignment of key accountabilities for business performance.
