Policies and reports

Our Group Policies set out our commitment and approach to responsibly managing our impact on the world. This includes our relationships with our people, customers, communities and environment. They set out the values and behaviours needed to make Royal Mail Group a trusted, positive and successful business. We report on our environmental, social and governance activities each year.

Our policies

Our policies set out our strategies, governance and commitments. We have policies that relate to a wide range of issues including our Environment, Corporate Responsibility, Health and Safety, Anti-Bribery, Responsible Procurement, Equality and Fairness, Tax Principles and Whistleblowing Policies.

Our Corporate Responsibility Reports

We report on our environmental, social and governance activities each year. Our Corporate Responsibility Report is assured against the dual standards of AA1000AS and ISAE3000 (Revised)/3410. These standards ensure the content is material and relevant to stakeholders, and provide confidence in the robustness of the data. PwC conducted the limited assurance and their statement can be found on pages 82-84 of the 2017-18 Corporate Responsibility Report. Our reporting criteria below detail our guidelines for measuring recording and reporting selected data.

We report in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Sustainability Reporting Framework. For the first time this year we are using GRI Standards. This report has been prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards: Comprehensive option. Corporate Citizenship have checked the Index and confirms that, in their view, the Index meets the requirements.
